• A friend and Clarion West grad and her spouse are launching a new design and writing/editing company. Here's the announcement on her LJ site. (I am hoping to take advantage of their skills my own self.)


• Dynamic writer and amazing woman Kelley Eskridge has announced the launch of her new company Humans at Work, about how to manage real human beings in a humane way. There's a lot of free content there, too. (I can personally vouch for her effectiveness in this realm, having participated in a human-resources related workshop with her in the past.)

NOTALINK: I'm being silly today and emailed a friend, talking about her and Jim and me: "We are three people and you are two of them!" It was of course incorrect but it sounded really funny at the time.

So, how silly was that? Did you laugh? Did you smile at least?

Maybe I'm just delirious from eating nothing but crackers and toast since Tuesday night when I picked up a stomach bug from a friend's one-year-old. Thank you, Scout! I hope you're back to being only one person and not 1 small person + 1 annoying virus = 2, - 1 annoying virus passed on to 3 people so far.

Maybe I'd better skip the math and get back to my revisions.
